Lothian Sea Kayak Club

Lothian sea kayak club functions as a contact point for sea kayakers in and around Edinburgh and the Lothians. The club has over 100 members but most members paddle in small groups. The club has a wide programme of events throughout the year. In winter we have slide shows & pool sessions. In summer there are regular evening midweek paddles as well as weekend trips to the west coast and other great paddling locations.

We don't have a regular training programme as such, but there are opportunities to develop skills and experience at a range of levels. However, in the interests of safety, we'd advise complete beginners to obtain some training in basic kayak safety before joining. The club has 3 boats for the use of club members which are available for a small charge.
