Lothian Sea Kayak Club makes a continuing contribution to this important project by clearing tree mallow from The Lamb once or twice a year. You can read more about the club’s work here.
Wildlife Encounters
As sea kayakers we realize we are privileged to be in an environment that few people have access to. We also are able to encounter marine wildlife in a way that is incomparable to any other method. With this comes a responsibility to ensure that the environment and the wildlife we encounter remain unaltered and undisturbed by our presence.
Members of Lothian Sea Kayak Club should aim to minimise disturbance to marine wildlife as described by the WiSe Scheme some of which is summarised on the Wildlife Encounters page.
